DJ/Playlists

I don’t DJ for fame. I don’t DJ for a career. To be honest, I don’t DJ much at all. But, if I do it is because I love music and wish to share those amazing tunes that I have discovered. I spend a lot of time digging for new music. Dub techno, house, chillout, jazz, techno, breaks, world, hiphop and any tune that falls into the genre which is “Good music”.

I came into the electronic music scene as a dancer, so I do love good dance music. But, at the same time I am not interested in the party scene. I am interested in the music scene. There is a difference.

In many ways I would be called a selector, not really a DJ. At least not a good one if I compare myself to good DJs I know. I don’t have technical skills to show off. I believe that I am there to let you hear this amazing music that someone put their heart into. Put me in a corner, make me invisible, I am not the important one. What matters is the music and that people get to hear it on a good sound system surrounded by happy people.

I don’t want to play everywhere. I want to play for people who actually love music. For rooms where the crowd moves because they feel it, not because they were told to or because it looks good for their 17 Instagram followers. Private parties, small gatherings, friends in fields, strangers in dark rooms - anyone ready to listen. I want to see that foot starts tapping, the head nod, the smile and the expression of “Wow, what is this tune”. That’s what I love.
