Art and music are my
favorite puzzles.
I have made it into a rule of life that I do some creative work every day. I see myself as a maker and since I am extremely restless I constantly switch between working with music, art, text or ideas. You might think I posted a lot here for you to see, but in reality it is just a fragment of what I have done.
Much of what I create comes from experimentation, working with the tools I know best: FL Studio, Photoshop, computers, cameras, pencils and paint. I also try to be a DJ and stream music online, but I think I am more into collecting music than I am going out to play it. I am a proud member of some online communities where curiosity, creativity and inclusiveness are core values.
Over the years I managed a big event company, produced television and film, started a web design company and I received national and international awards for journalism, television, and music video production. Some years ago I was forced to step away from work because of severe illness.
What I make is not meant to be explained in detail. I must admit that the over explanation of creative work is not something I am a fan of. Many years ago I sat in my room in a collective where I was living. A friend of a friend came in to the room when I was working on an abstract image in Photoshop. He asked me why I was making images of war. I had no idea what he was talking about, but that was the day I understood the difference between making and experiencing creative works.
This site is a place where I gather what I’ve been working on — music, images, and ideas. If something here sparks a reaction, then it has already done its job. I also hope to get some extra money so I can buy a new camera and do some projects I am dreaming about.
